The lessons are geared towards traditional paper animation and is the perfect starting point for artists ready to dip their toes into the world of moving pictures.

Being an Online Artist

This class is oriented to the growing number of artists who would like to learn to better navigate the art world through a professional lens, and for those who would like to be more confident in their presentation online. In this class, not only will we be drawing, but we will also be learning about the dos and don’ts of commission work, and what it takes to get commissions. Drawing and Online Presence is a class created for artists to explore their potential as a creator, and what that means for them.

Storytelling in Comics

Comics is a powerful artform and one that is open to all types of collaborations and projects! In this class, throughout the year we'll look toward partnerships with film festivals and other art organizations and we'll develop comics' unique way of telling a story!

Manga Art & Illustration

This class will focus on developing styles closest to manga or manhua comics! Students will be taught to observe manga closely to study storytelling choices in Asian comics in order to create their very own comics and illustrations in the style of manga. (If your child enjoys anime/manga, this is the class that focuses on that style of art!)
